The Madrid based wine competition, one of the leading ones
in Spain, has announced the awards for 2019. Over four days at the beautiful Casino
in Madrid, over 1,650 wines from 22 countries were tasted blind and assessed by
90 international experts including Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers,
specialist journalists and oenologists. As always these days, Sherry did well
receiving four of Spain´s 15 Gran Bacchus de Oro awards (Rioja and Ribera del
Duero only achieved two) and the results are below:
