The University of Shinshu in the city of
Matsumoto (Nagano Prefecture) recently hosted a tasting by Japanese Sherry
Educator Tomoko Kimura and Jerez Academic José Luís Jiménez. Seven styles of
Sherry from the Williams & Humbert Don Zoilo range including Manzanilla
Alegría were shown and provided the perfect finish to this cultural/oenological
event. The topic was Sherry in Japanese Culture and for many students and staff
alike it was their first encounter with Sherry, and they enjoyed it very much.
