The work being carried out on the ground floor
of the Casa del Vino,
the Consejo building, is at an advanced stage. The new Centro de Dinamización
Enoturistica will be a showcase for everything connected to Sherry and is
expected to open to the public on time on the 12th May, during the
Feria del Caballo.

González Byass took the opportunity of the
Spanish Grand Prix
to sign an agreement with the coordinator of Jerez Capital Mundial de
Motociclismo and the director of the Circuito de Jerez to re-model the 30 metre
high Tio Pepe Tower which presides over the circuit crowned by an 8 metre high
bottle of Tio Pepe. The project, which will cost some €450,000 and make the
tower more functional will be open to competition from Spanish architects.
