González Byass Matúsalem VORS Oloroso Dulce has
won the trophy for best Fortified Wine in the Japan Wine Challenge 2016 which
is regarded as the top Asian wine competition. Matúsalem was the only Spanish wine to win maximum
points out of the 1,400 wines which competed from 28 countries, and only 12 gained maximum
points. The trophy was presented by her Imperial Highness Princess Takamado at
a gala dinner in Tokyo.
