With the huge success of the event in 2017 Jerez will be packed once
again with hundreds of famous wine and food experts from all around the world.
For this VIII edition of the Copa Jerez and II edition of the Forum the programme is even more ambitious and it has been
moved from the Consejo Regulador building to the Teatro Villamarta in order to
accommodate the increased numbers of people. Here, on the 28th and 29th of May
those attending the event will be able to enjoy both the varied lectures,
tastings and workshops and of course the prestigious Copa Jerez Final itself.

The competition will be contested
by the finalists from restaurants in seven countries: Spain (Bon Amb, Alicante),
Germany (Corangesituado, Mannheim), Belgium (Le Pilori, Écaussinnes), Denmark (Clou,
Copenhagen), United States (NoMad, Los Angeles), Holland (Le Cheval Blanc,
Heemstede) and the United Kingdom (Texturecon, London). The teams consist of a
chef and a sommelier who will prepare a starter, main course and dessert to create
the finest posible harmonies with Sherry. These promise to be spectacular with
teams from some of the top restaurants in the world matching their best cuisine
with Sherry, the most versatile of wines with food and which the leading wine
guide Guia Peñín recently pronounced the best wine in the world.
